Alexandra Bolintineanu, keynote address and Early Career Award winner

Every three years, CSDH/SCHN awards an individual with the Outstanding Early Career Award. This year, the award went to Alexandra Bolintineanu of the University of Toronto. Dr. Bolintineanu will give a keynote address, closing the first day of our annual conference. The Wormand the Book: Digital Humanities Reading, Building,and Learning in the Undergraduate Curriculum

Abstract: An intensely research project-oriented field in its beginnings, digital humanities is increasingly entering undergraduate and graduate curriculums across North America.  Using the University of Toronto’s new Digital Humanities Minor as a case study, this paper discusses the challenges–intellectual, institutional, pedagogical–of developing and teaching a sustainable Digital Humanities program in the undergraduate curriculum.
